Let me just get one thing straight from the very beginning. I do not, in any way, begrudge conservatives or conservatism. I am conservative in quite a few ways. No, I don’t care if gays get married, and I don’t believe it is a threat to the makeup of the nuclear family. I am, however, a strong proponent of “pay-as-you-go” economics. Joe the Plumber ‘Nomics (Part 1)

The economic philosophy of the past eight years has not been one focused on staying power, but rather on a more quantity-of-wealth economy approach as opposed to quality-of-wealth approach. The major philosophic approach has been to “supply, supply, supply.”
Unfortunately, there has been an inadequate amount of attention paid to the quality of wealth being accumulated. We saw a decent amount of economic growth from approximately 2003-2007, but the standard of living for the majority of Americans has decreased. This was a tragically missed opportunity to improve our country.
